A Summer of Jiu Jitsu Competition!

Summer was an eventful couple of months at Team Casarez as our talented athletes took the stage at various tournaments locally and across the country. Let’s relive some of the action:

PBJJF Raleigh Summer Open

Three of our athletes took the stage at the local PBJJF Raleigh Summer Open.

  • James won one match and lost the second, earning him 2nd place overall.
  • Anthony had 4 matches, and won all of them, 3 of them by submission. He earned gold in his division.
  • Hedrick won his two matches, one by submission. He also earned gold in his division.

Congratulations to these students on their performances and hard work!

Newbreed Raleigh Success

On July, 15 of our fearless students represented Team Casarez at the local Newbreed Raleigh tournament. The results were remarkable:

  • 5 kids brought up 8 gold medals and 3 silver medals.
  • A special mention to Trinity who had 9 total matches and won 8 of them.

Our kids worked hard that day, and we are very proud of them!

  • 10 adults brought home 13 medals, 6 of which were gold.

For some of our students, this was their first tournament, and we are very proud of them for going out there to test what they have learned.

Congratulations to all of the students who competed that day!
